The rooms were clean and in good condition, and the price was definitely fair. Our landlady was very friendly and let us stay longer on our arrival day because the afternoon guests weren't coming until the next day. We had the ground-floor apartment as well as the guest room, but there was no direct link between them, so we had to go through the hallway each time. The kitchen wasn't really suited to cooking larger meals.

The price no longer feels worthwhile with all the problems we ran into. The bathroom light, hairdryer, remote control, soap dispenser, and heating were broken, the chairs wobbled, the lighting was dim, and there was no bath mat. There are two apartments, one on the ground floor and one on the first floor, and they're different sizes, but the photos don't show which apartment is which.

The breakfast is fantastic, and they leave enough extra food for you to pack a lunch for later. My five-night stay included breakfast, and I really like how quiet and family-run the place feels. Everything is clean, there's a sauna, and the big bathroom heater is handy for drying wet clothes. My room also had a small fridge, instant coffee each day, plus tea and a kettle. I can highly recommend Haus Toskana.

Pets are welcome, which is great. The landlady was kind and helpful, and the apartment's ground-floor terrace is small but cozy. A few little things could be better, like having at least a bit of pepper, salt, and sugar in the kitchen, the sauna shower's water hose, doors that scrape, and shower drains without vents. None of that was enough to spoil our week's vacation. Thanks again!

Everything we needed was there, and we really enjoyed our stay. We booked an apartment and could add breakfast. The host couple were very friendly, and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious for a private home.
