Nice rooms, good food, and a nice wellness area. We stayed for the weekend, and I can recommend this place.

You can set off on a hike right from the hotel, and the location is peaceful. There's also a common room for reading and games. The food was fantastic, especially the evening multi-course menu, and on two days there was a superb buffet. They reuse leftover food; afternoon snacks are usually soup from the previous evening, along with cake and dessert. The rooms were beautiful and very clean. The sauna area is small, with few loungers when the hotel is full, and the outdoor area is awkwardly right beside the restaurant. During our stay there was a daily quiz with a glass of hay schnapps as the prize. Highly recommended.

The wellness area was a highlight, with several saunas and steam baths, plus a relaxation room looking out at the mountains. The staff were friendly, cheerful, motivated, and easy to approach, and the Haider family made our vacation perfect. Our room had almost 40 m² of space, was beautifully decorated and very clean, and had a large balcony facing down the valley toward Lake Vilsalpsee. This quiet, family-run hotel sits right on the access road to the lake and makes an ideal base for activities around the Tannheimer Valley. The cuisine was excellent, from the generous breakfast buffet to the many delicious dishes and memorable five-course dinner, all presented and prepared to a very high standard. There are also afternoon sweets and soup, though we were out hiking and didn't try them. Thank you so much. We'll be back.
