The food was a real highlight, with fresh, carefully prepared Tyrolean cooking made from fine ingredients. The dumplings, roasts, fresh salads, and plentiful breakfast with regional products were all excellent. Hotel Dollinger in Tarrenz also offers genuine Tyrolean hospitality in a well-kept, authentic setting. From arrival, it felt family-run, warm, and professional. The cozy, clean rooms have quality beds, well-appointed bathrooms, and mountain views, and cleanliness throughout the hotel, including the restaurant, really stands out. Staff were consistently friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome as people rather than anonymous guests. The quiet location on the outskirts of Tarrenz has good connections to Imst, the Gurgltal valley, and many hiking and excursion destinations. There's ample parking and the price-performance ratio is fair. A traditional hotel with character and charm, clearly recommended for anyone wanting to experience Tyrol's genuine warmth.
