Oberhasenberghof

We spent a week camping in tents at the start of July, and it was a wonderful experience all around. Andrea was a lovely host and gave us plenty of useful ideas for exploring nearby. The children were so taken with the barn that we almost forgot they were with us. Our pitch had enough space and electricity, and the new sanitary building was clean and in pristine condition. Fridges and freezers were available at no extra cost. There’s also a small parking area, a jacuzzi and an outdoor pool near the playground and rabbit house. The 4 km drive from Taxenbach can feel a bit daunting, especially in a large car or while towing a caravan. With a small car, though, after a few days you stop rolling your eyes when your wife says she forgot something at the grocery store.

We’re so glad we brought our mobile home up to Berbauernhof, even though the drive was quite an adventure. It’s a beautiful, peaceful place where the animals and children get along in a lovely way. The service was friendly and top-notch, and everything was clean. It’s environmentally friendly too. Sadly, we could only stay one night because it was fully booked after that.

A lovely campground high up on a mountain, with a wonderful view across the mountains. The host was very nice too. Absolutely recommend it!

Such an amazing base for exploring Salzburg. What more can we say?
