Such a cozy, lovely house, and Ruth is the best host. It’s close to stubai park air and the best sauna in tyrol.

Breakfast on the big balcony in the “Serles” apartment was a highlight of our beautiful week in October 2023. We watched the sun rise over the mountain and then warm us in its glow. The apartment had tasteful decor, and the location was excellent: hiking starts right at the door, or you can take the tram to Innsbruck. A well-stocked “Spar” is just two doors away. The train trip was easy thanks to Ruth Wilhelmy, our warm and helpful landlady, who picked us up and dropped us off at Innsbruck train station. We spent a week at Lenzerhof in February (2019) with our two children and felt at home from the start in the charming, cozy Selfes apartment, the nicest vacation apartment we’ve stayed in. The restored 500-year-old farmhouse has lovely, distinctive architectural details. The kitchen and sunny balcony are at its heart, and even in February we enjoyed the view comfortably in t-shirts. The kids found a different fun corner to play in every day. A small shop next door had what we needed, and the ski bus is a five-minute walk away and gets you quickly to the valley station. Ski rental and ski school are very well organized in Telfes, and the village has a great pool within walking distance, with warm outdoor pools and slides.

Telfes was quiet and restful, while nearby Fulpmes and Neustift were livelier, which made the mix perfect for us. We spent two weeks of summer vacation at Lenzerhof, in Apartment Serles, with our two teenage children, and loved the range of activities around the Stubai Valley and Innsbruck. The apartment was ideal for that. It was spotless, well equipped, and the hostess was very friendly with lots of useful tips. Transport links and self-catering were convenient. Its special atmosphere comes from being in a 500-year-old farmhouse in the center of Telfes, carefully renovated to blend the old structure, tradition, and modern amenities with every comfort. The balcony view is hard to beat. We’ll be back to ski next time.
