The views are beautiful, and Thiersee is close by. Kufstein is about 15 minutes away. A great place to stay, run by a friendly family on a farmhouse.

We had a wonderful view, and the family on site were lovely. The rooms were clean and well furnished. Breakfast wasn't offered in the off-season, but that didn't bother us.

The view was truly magnificent, but the stay was a disappointment. We'd booked a room for two weeks, and it had no small fridge, kettle, or coffee maker. During that time, the owner hardly got in touch, and never checked whether everything was okay or if we needed anything. The room wasn't cleaned, and after eight days we had to ask for fresh bed linen and cleaning. Towels and toilet paper weren't restocked either, and we found out we had to request them ourselves. The shared old kitchen wasn't very clean: the dining table was sticky, and the fridge was dirty too. There were no tea towels or dish soap, so we had to ask for those twice. The balcony was very narrow and shared with four other rooms. The website mentioned a small fee for bringing a dog, but after booking we learned it was 10 euros per night. You'd expect at least regular vacuuming, but that didn't happen. We've spent many holidays in Austria and never had an experience like this.

Wanishof is in a really idyllic spot and made a great starting point for our excursions. We were welcomed warmly and well looked after. The children had lots to discover on site, including the animals, plus a spacious garden with a trampoline and swimming pool. We'd definitely vacation here again! 😃
