There are three floors here, with a separate apartment on each one, including a kitchen, bathroom, living room and one or more bedrooms. The drive up is a bit of an adventure because the roads are in poor shape, but once there, it’s peaceful and the mountain views are beautiful. The hosts are helpful and kind, and check-in was easy. A washing machine is available too. The basement sauna takes a coin for a 90-minute session, and you get one coin per night of your stay. You can lock the door for some privacy, though there are no curtains in the wellness area, so guests outside could see in. Our Wi-Fi didn’t work properly during the stay, which was a shame. Everything else was in order, making it a suitable place for a holiday.

We stayed in the top-floor apartment, which is spacious and nicely furnished, with two bedrooms, a gallery and a fully equipped kitchen. The landlady was very friendly, and pets are welcome for a small extra fee. It’s quiet and secluded up there, with a fantastic view and a feeling of having the mountain almost to yourself. A great place to unwind. We’d happily return, and a visit to Ischgl and the Silvretta Reservoir is highly recommended.

Once it was clear the entry rules would let me go, I booked on the spot and was glad I did. The scenery is lovely, and the people were friendly and helpful. The chance to properly relax was priceless. I explored on foot and by motorbike and came away with so many lovely impressions.
