Bacherlhaus

Such a cozy place. We really enjoyed the scenery and the peaceful surroundings. Big thanks to our host, Miss Rita, for her hospitality and for making us feel at home. Highly recommended if you enjoy nature and quiet. Stay safe and healthy. Bye, Rita!

The owners were helpful and took a personal approach, and the ground-floor apartment at Bacherlhaus was lovely to stay in. They left us lots of goodies, thank you! They’re a young, active group of entrepreneurs focused on sustainable development and careful use of resources. The nature-friendly heating, new electrical appliances, and recycling all fit with that. A microwave would have helped, especially with little kids, so perhaps the owners could consider adding one. The guests upstairs were sometimes loud after 10 p.m., though it wasn’t unbearable. Maybe the owners could remind new guests about this when they arrive. We liked everything else.

Watching the evening sun on Traunstein was unforgettable, and the location made it easy to reach lots of different walking spots. Apartment 3 at Bacherlhaus is one of the loveliest holiday flats we’ve stayed in, with every detail thought through like a designer’s dream. We enjoyed the treats in the fridge and the great coffee, too. We met our host Tabea, who was lovely and had lots of great ideas for things to do nearby. Thanks for a wonderful stay. Katrin & Jason

We’ve had some lovely stays, but this is definitely the best Airbnb place we’ve been to. The apartment is comfortable, well equipped, and finished to a very high standard. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, and there’s plenty of parking outside. It’s peaceful, set a little way above the village and lakeside road, with a lovely lake view. Tabea was delightful and gave us useful ideas for walks and restaurants. What more could you want?
