Bauernhof Landhaus Hofer

For a quiet, clean stay above 800m, this is just the spot. The hosts are very friendly, the rooms are lovely and clean, and breakfast was excellent. Nights were completely silent. We had a 100% relaxing holiday!

We felt so comfortable on this lovely farm and would happily come back. It’s a little paradise for people and animals, with kind, friendly hosts. The spacious apartment was beautiful, the view above Lake Ossiach was great, and breakfast was wonderful. Thanks for everything! Best, the Schmidt family.

After more than 20 years, I came back with my own family, having loved visiting this place eight times as a child. It’s still a wonderful place to me, and I hope this ninth visit won’t be my last. The children felt at home after just one day and were allowed to explore almost all the interesting spots. The farm is still run with so much love and dedication. As an adult, I can see and appreciate all the little details and the huge amount of effort that goes into everything, even though it all seems effortless because it’s done with such care. The farm is tucked into the mountains and incredibly peaceful, with countless great places to visit nearby. After a day out, we’d take a refreshing swim in Lake Ossiach and head back “home” to recharge for the next day.

A real hidden gem. The rooms are excellent, everything is spotless and well cared for, and the location is fantastic. Such a friendly, wonderful family!
