The setting is absolutely stunning, especially with snow on the ground, though you’ll need snow chains then. The holiday home is beautiful and cozy, with generous, tasteful furnishings and everything you could want.

The rooms were good, though the one with single beds is really suited to children.

The sauna is a lovely extra, and the peaceful setting is hard to beat. It’s a dream house, furnished beautifully in a mountain cabin style, with wood throughout. It sits high up, and getting there means taking a narrow, winding uphill road, so a capable driver and a good car are needed. The host was very friendly.

We were eight adults and three small children, and the place worked perfectly for our group. It has everything you need and is in a beautiful location, so I’d highly recommend it. The restaurant nearby is worth a visit too.
