We slept really well in the quiet, comfortable room, with its comfortable queen-sized bed and free Wi-Fi. We wondered if we'd hear cows heading out in the morning, but didn't. Breakfast was a decent buffet with a good variety. It was busy, so we couldn't get a table in the sunroom or porch, but the traditional room was fine too. The husband and wife who run the pension were wonderful. The wife welcomed us and checked us in, and gave us good suggestions for dinner since there isn't a restaurant on site. We learned she'd made a special arrangement to let us stay just one night. Normally a longer stay is required, though the booking website we used hadn't mentioned that. All in all, an excellent stay at a cute pension.

Haus Gafrina is well worth considering if we return to this part of Austria. The host was wonderful and happy to offer help and guidance, and his restaurant recommendations were excellent. The rooms are simple, clean, and comfortable. We could rent mountain bikes for free and rode to the nearby town for supper every day. Child drinks are available for reasonable prices on a self-service basis. Breakfast was really good, especially keeping in mind this isn't a four-star hotel. We'd try to book a room here first next time.

The hosts were lovely and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. It's great value, with decent rooms and a good breakfast. There's also a nice historic town nearby where you can go for dinner.

A cozy, pleasant place in a great spot within the Montafon. The rooms feel quite modern, breakfast is good, and there's storage for all your ski gear.

We spent three nights here in August 2018 and were warmly welcomed. The hospitality stayed just as warm throughout our visit. The guesthouse is immaculate and furnished to a high standard, and breakfast was fresh, enjoyable, and had more than enough choice. A lovely, welcoming stay in the impressive surroundings of Vorarlberg, ideal for a hiking holiday. We'd certainly consider coming back.
