Great views and location, and the place is well equipped. The wooden floors creak so strangely that walking quietly is impossible.

I don't recommend it. The floors creak loudly upstairs in the rooms and hallway, and it can ruin your whole stay.

The outdoor sauna beside the cabin was a real highlight 😁. We had a wonderful holiday there with my two children and felt right at home in the cozy cabin in the woods. We spent three fantastic days skiing at the end of the season, with perfect conditions on the Turracher Höhe.

The area is beautiful, with hiking trails starting right by the house, and plenty of summer walks as well as a ski area. The landlord answered questions quickly, and the caretaker gave us a friendly welcome. There was construction opposite, but thankfully it didn't bother us. The house felt spacious for the four of us, and it's set up for about six or seven people. The beds were comfortable, the washing machine was good, and there was both a bath and a shower. The kitchen was excellent, though a little outdated. Wi-Fi worked well, and the sauna was very nice. From the balcony, surrounded by pine trees, I felt a sense of freedom, though I missed having a comfortable chair outside. It was chilly even in summer, since the house got no afternoon or evening sun. The drive in was nerve-racking, with lots of potholes and bumps on a loose stone and gravel road. The house is also very noisy, with terribly creaky floors, so I'd bring earplugs if traveling with more than one person.
