Chalet Alois Juns in Juns

We rented the house for a week in January 2019 with 9 people, 6 adults and 3 children. The apartment itself was nice and cozy: four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, a large living and dining area, ski storage, covered parking, and a sauna with a small anteroom. The accommodation was otherwise fine, but we missed the central tiled stove we’d had in other places, which would have made it warmer and cozier. A few things brought our rating down to 3 stars. The Wi-Fi was so poor that downloading or streaming movies wasn’t possible. The sauna could only be heated from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and never got above 60°C, so it was practically unusable. Despite a relatively high energy surcharge, which wasn’t stated in the offer, the whole house was very cold the first day and night. We couldn’t adjust the temperature ourselves, so the next day we had to ask the owners to turn up the heat. Communication with them was often curt and rather unfriendly. We’ve had much better experiences at other accommodations in Austria.

The facility is almost perfect, but arriving to find extra taxes calculated by the landlady was an unnecessary frustration. Apartment Alios was basic, and cold to put it mildly, with bad heating. A shame.

We felt completely at ease in this cozy chalet, furnished with great taste. We didn’t lack a thing.
