The apartments are new and warm. There's a free ski depot near the lift, and the bus stop is a one-minute walk away. The ride to the lift takes three minutes, with buses every 10 minutes. Perfect if you're here to ski.

We got a good parking spot in the garage, and the toilet and shower were clean. The place included a bus ticket for trips between the Spar and the lifts below. Breakfast is up to you, though bread is delivered to the door in the morning, and the small kitchenette has a stove and fridge. The accommodation was good, and the host was friendly and helpful. It was easy to arrange a check-in time and communicate in English. We stayed for a couple of nights on a driving holiday in the Alps. The ski season hadn't started, with only the upper slopes open and the village quiet. We took the lift to the top. It was expensive, but worth it as a first Alps experience. In November there were nice walking paths on the intermediate slopes. The micro-steam sauna wasn't for us Finns, the steam smelled like a dentist's office. We recommend the place.

For skiers, the best part was having equipment storage at the GletscherBus lift station, very close to the gondola to the Hintertux Glacier. The hosts were great, and the apartment was wonderful, with a private sauna and underground parking.
