Our kids, aged 1 and 12, had the time of their lives, and we did too. The hotel has great facilities in a beautiful location, and the food was the best quality. The staff were so helpful and kind, the best we’ve ever come across. If you get the chance to visit the wine cellar, do it. Mr Falkner really knows his stuff. 👌

Niederthai is beautiful beyond words, and such a good base for hiking, mountain biking, climbing, fly fishing, paragliding, swimming, skiing, langlauf, and plenty more. The countryside is wonderful, and Falknerhof fits right into the Austrian mountain lifestyle and its surroundings. I’ve stayed at Falknerhof on and off for 16 years, and the quality has stayed high every time, with excellent service. Steffi and Peter Falkner are always ready to help and offer useful suggestions. They even found a solution when our young daughter wanted to milk a cow. I can’t recommend the hotel and location highly enough, whether you’re young or old.

The staff are friendly and professional. After hiking, you can stop in for an Edelweiss beer, warm up with coffee and Apfelstrudel after getting caught in the rain, or sit down to a delicious dinner with good wine. Recommended!

It’s wonderfully quiet around this beautiful hotel, and the views are amazing. You’ll find it at 1600m altitude, 30km from Solden. It’s a real family hotel, and the owners will do almost anything to make your holiday a good one.
