Gästehaus Dobida

The hostess is extremely friendly and shares excellent excursion tips drawn from her years in tourism. Breakfast is ample and varied, and the peaceful setting has a relaxing feel. The views across the vineyards are wonderful. I'm already looking forward to visiting again.

The vineyard views from the quiet rooms are the best in the region, and it's a great place to relax. This guesthouse is near the Loipersdorf thermal spa. The hostess is very friendly and keeps coming up with useful tips for the area. Breakfast is varied and plentiful. We'll definitely return!

I read the other reviews and have to wonder whether we stayed at the same place. Our room was small and furnished in a haphazard way, with a TV about the size of a 15-inch screen. The shower door was broken, and cleanliness left much to be desired: paint marks and splashes on the shower cubicle, plus cobwebs in a bathroom ceiling corner. We could hear everything from the neighboring rooms. Breakfast for the four of us was just about adequate. There was no minibar or fridge in the room. A shared refrigerator was available in the common room, but it didn't have the drinks you'd expect. All in all, a short break best forgotten.

Our holiday felt perfect, right down to the playful dog and affectionate cat. The rooms were clean and nicely furnished, with a stunning view from our own little terrace. Breakfast was delicious and made with local ingredients, and our friendly hosts catered to every need. One of the best holidays we've had in ages, and we'd definitely come back!
