We came back after ten years so our children could enjoy the playground and we could hike the mountain. It all felt just as it did before, with no drop in quality. The nature is breathtaking, and the place feels like a steady island in a stormy, crazy world. A bit like stepping into a time machine.

The ski runs work really well for beginners, and we barely had to wait at the lifts. We also found the rooms clean, and the heated dog kennels were clean too. The food was excellent, with proper Austrian dishes.

We had two great days of skiing, helped by the hotel's spot right beside the lift. The owners are so welcoming, and you can tell they've put care into all the little details. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, and everything was fresh and tasty. Do try the bacon and spring onion pizza! We'd happily recommend this cozy hotel in such a lovely location.
