We always come back here for our first stop when we're driving toward Italy, Croatia, or farther south. The quiet atmosphere and beautiful lake view make it a little haven on the road. It's more of a well-organized parking area than a typical campsite, with marked, comfortable pitches, well water, electricity, and a place to empty camper waste. The hosts once let us use the upper meadow when all the spots were full. They're friendly and helpful, and the gasthaus has a cozy, rustic interior with lovely views. It feels like a warm, relaxing family farm, and we truly enjoy returning.

What a gem of a spot for our MotorHome. The owner was very friendly, and the views were out of this world.

There was a goat chained to a tree near the house, and the walls are paper thin. Don't expect to get much sleep.

It was clean, though the staff could be more polite.

The view was great, and renting the pitch was easy. We paid €25 straight away for two adults and electricity, so we could leave first thing the next morning. There aren't any sanitary facilities, and for the end of March, we thought that was a bit expensive. Fine for a one-night stop while heading south.
