Villa Konstanze

The charming, witty host and her great team made us feel welcome. We had a lovely, relaxing short trip to the Sportwagen- Treffen in Velden. The property and its dream garden, with a pool, are top notch, and so is the location. Thanks again from the two Miesbachers, Karin and Günter.

The location is fantastic, and the pool and garden are gorgeous. Breakfast was mediocre, though, and anyone with celiac disease would be better off staying elsewhere. The only gluten-free choice was a spelt roll. There was untoasted bread as an alternative, but it was hard to find a toaster. I couldn't bake my own bread because they couldn't or wouldn't let me use the oven, and they didn't seem pleased with me. The shower leaked, but they fixed it right away. While dealing with that, they complained a lot about other guests who hadn't reported the problem.

The outdoor pool was great, and the hosts were very friendly. Our room was tidy, clean, and charmingly decorated in an English teapot style. The location and amenities were fantastic too. We only missed having Wi-Fi in the room.

I booked, then had to cancel because of a personal emergency. They said they never got the cancellation. I called several times, but nobody answered, and they withdrew the money without trying to sort it out. What a rip-off. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
