Hotel Am Schubertring

We spent five days here and had a great stay. The staff, room, location, and breakfast were all lovely. The coffee was great once I figured out the machine! Most major sights are walkable, and there are excellent tram links right outside. Stadtparke U4 is also just a five-minute walk away. I’d definitely come back.

The room was nice and the location is good, about a 10-minute walk to the city center. For three nights between two of us, only four Nespresso pods were provided, so I’d expected one each per day. There was no conditioner in the bathroom either. Breakfast was good, though by 9am the cooked eggs were gone and we had to ask for more. Vita at reception was lovely, friendly, and happy to help with every question. Thanks, Vita, you’re an asset to the hotel 🤩

I booked this because Vienna is expensive and it was the cheapest option I could find within walking distance of the city center, so I went in with low expectations. The service turned out to be great, and the room was clean and comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised and would happily recommend it.

The two young staff members at the front lobby were especially friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make me comfortable while I was getting around with a wheelchair because of my broken ankle. The hotel is beautiful and centrally located, close to Vienna’s main attractions. Our room for three was clean and a comfortable size. My only criticism is that the beds weren’t very comfortable and need updating.
