Angel's Place Vienna

A cozy place with a friendly, family-like feel, helpful staff, and a good basic breakfast. The bathroom for our apartment was outside the room, but it wasn't much of an issue since we hardly ever met anyone on the way there. You can come and go whenever you like using the door code.

The owners are extremely friendly and helpful, and the simple breakfast is good quality. This is a clean, basic economy place in Vienna's 15th district, with three rooms and one apartment. It's close to tram lines 52 and 60, and about a 10-minute walk to the east entrance of Schloss Schönbrunn. The rooms are in the basement, well ventilated but without windows. WiFi is fast with a strong signal. Entry is by keypad at the front door, and each room key is in its door lock. For a night or two on a budget, the price is hard to beat, and the accommodation is much better than an IBIS or another budget chain.

We stayed four nights and can wholeheartedly recommend Angels place. It's a cozy, friendly hotel with very clean, comfortable rooms that have everything you'd need. The staff are super helpful and friendly.

We came for one night to see Vienna and stayed in an apartment. I got the key instructions before we arrived. We were much too early, so the room wasn't ready, but when we came back everything was perfect. The street was a little loud, though, and the windows only open fully, not in a tilted position. On the ground floor at night, not everyone will want to leave them wide open.
