Appartement Florian

I’m still bothered by how this was handled, and I wish I’d called the police. We had some well-groomed wedding guests from abroad staying there, and they didn’t speak German. When they were checking out, I was told they had broken the toilet flush in one of the rooms. In fact, the flush wasn’t working properly: the short flush worked, but the long one didn’t. They kept €50 of my deposit over it. Someone might easily assume the short flush was just a defect, or not even notice anything if they didn’t need the long flush. I also found it odd that the older owner seemed to be deliberately testing it. Looking back, the whole thing felt intentional, like they were making extra money from ordinary wear and tear. I complained briefly, but didn’t want to cause a scene in front of my guests. It was still a disgusting thing to do, and I can’t recommend these apartments.

The apartment is in Vienna’s greenbelt, near the Old Danube, Danube Island, and Bisamberg, and getting into the city center by bus and subway is easy. The service, atmosphere, and amenities were all excellent, and I had a wonderful stay. Many thanks to the whole team. I’m already looking forward to coming back.

There’s a lovely garden, and the place itself is beautiful. At 50 euros per person per night, the prices are very good too.
