The bed was really comfortable, with soft, lump-free pillows and a blanket, and the real wood floor made the apartment feel cozy. Getting around is easy: the subway is about 150m away, with a bakery and small shop around 50m away. Turkish and Penny supermarkets are about 300m away, and restaurants are roughly 350-500m away. The kitchenette has a two-pot induction cooktop, kettle, toaster, fridge with a freezer compartment, and just a small vegetable knife. There’s no bread knife. The room has a fan, but it can get very hot. The street noise goes on all night, so opening the windows isn’t really possible. Air conditioning would be nice, though I think it may not be allowed to protect the building’s exterior. I didn’t see AC fans on the other buildings either. Parking in the courtyard is available for €10 per night and seems a good idea. It was quick and easy to contact the landlady.

The street gets really loud at night, especially with the windows open in the warm weather. We live in a big city too, but this was noisy. I’m not taking points off for it, since it isn’t the hostess’s fault. Apart from that, we were completely happy with our stay. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed, including a washing machine. The hostess was incredibly friendly and helpful, communication was great, and she was always available. We could even have extended our stay spontaneously. We’d absolutely love to come back.

The bathroom was very dirty, and the place didn’t feel clean. There’s little space, the furniture is old, and the appliances are only okay. The kitchen is small, the walls have holes, and the floor is scratched. The lighting and the overall look were poor too.

The landlady was friendly, and the subway connection is excellent. It worked perfectly for two people and a child.
