The location is great, on a quiet side street and very close to the Vienna city hall. The room was small but tastefully furnished, and the duvet and pillows felt like actual clouds, the most comfortable I've had. I wanted to ask the hotel who made them. Breakfast had a slightly limited selection, but it was the best hotel breakfast we've had, and one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. The eggs Benedict with hollandaise was divine. The bacon, sausage, pastries, and cappuccino were also among the best I've had. The presentation and table setting have set a high bar for future breakfasts. We were generally pleased with the stay, and had superb interactions with the gentleman who checked us in, Meliza who helped with the self-service laundry, the gentleman who looked after us for our first three breakfasts, and especially Zara, who was genuinely thoughtful and very kind. The reason for the 4 out of 5 was our last breakfast. A different server came across as curt when I politely asked to sit at another table to see the other part of the room. He said that section's tables were reserved for four because we were only two, even though a couple was seated at a table there and many seats were available. I first thought that might just be his manner, but then I overheard him being friendlier and more polite with the next table, so I'm not sure why we were treated differently. He also didn't come to take our order until I flagged him down several minutes later, after we'd finished our pastries and drinks. I'd still recommend the hotel. The location is great, the beds are very comfortable, and the food is top notch.

The hotel is beautifully placed for walking to most major sights, with plenty of public transport nearby. We stayed four nights in the Mansard King room. It was lovely and cleaned perfectly each day, though much smaller than we expected, especially the bathroom, perhaps because we're American. Breakfast was great and the service exceptional. The hotel was surprisingly noisy, with cleaning carts and guests upstairs, even though the street itself was quiet.

We picked ARTIST Boutique Hotel after reading reviews, and our first stay turned out marvelous, exceeding our expectations. The interior is amazing, with a distinctive style and real soul. Staff were polite, helpful, attentive to detail, and always well presented. Breakfast was a pleasure too: excellent service, perfectly cooked eggs, and everything needed to start the day. The location makes getting around easy, with key sights walkable and public transport convenient. One of the best price-to-performance ratios I've experienced. A perfect hotel for a visit to Vienna.

We felt lucky to have found Artist and stayed last November. The room was wonderful and very quiet, on a residential street that's peaceful but still walkable to central places, with a train nearby. Everyone in front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast was lovely, professional, kind, and service focused, working at a five star level. Someone at the front desk gave us excellent information about attending the opera. After a day on foot, we especially enjoyed the hotel bar. Julien, the bartender, is delightful and extremely knowledgeable, and the beautifully appointed space made it even nicer. Julien is the best bartender we've experienced anywhere. Thanks to everyone, and we look forward to coming back to your amazing city.
