There are two supermarkets and a bakery nearby, in a quiet residential area, and the apartment itself is spacious with a fairly well-equipped kitchen. It's a bit of a walk from the Matt station, though getting an Uber from the bus station or to the airport was no problem. The trouble was the hot water, which was out for three days in a row. I wondered if the boiler had run out. I had the same problem on my last morning while heading to the airport. The housekeeper replied to my email helpfully, but couldn't fix it right away.

I felt safe as a solo traveler, and the apartment was spotless, well kept, and had everything I needed. There are three supermarkets close by, with plenty of restaurants and bars around too. The hosts were great to communicate with and always replied quickly. Blauhouse Apartments is very central: about a 15-minute walk into Vienna's city center, around five minutes to the subway, and not far from the Prater and its green spaces. I highly recommend it. My stay at Blauhouse Apartments was fantastic. The location made it easy to reach the center on foot in 15 minutes, and the Prater amusement park was nearby too. Restaurants and bars are all around, and as a solo traveler I found the area very safe. My apartment was beautiful and clean, and I didn't miss a thing. The hosts got back to me very quickly. I'd happily recommend Blauhouse Apartments.
