The rooms were poorly maintained and clearly neglected. When we arrived, the room was extremely dirty. We went in after the scheduled cleaning time, but there were black hairs all over the floor. They hadn’t even provided a bottle of water.

They cancelled my reservation on the morning I was due to arrive, during Christmas, with no explanation, even though I’d booked almost two months ahead. The day before, they’d asked if I needed a taxi, then that morning they asked what time I’d arrive. Then suddenly they cancelled everything. It caused unbelievable stress and inconvenience at one of the busiest times of the year. The only explanation that makes sense to me is that they wanted to resell the room at a higher price, since I’d booked early at a lower rate. If so, they could at least have told me instead of cancelling at the last minute. This was unprofessional, unreliable, and completely disrespectful. Absolutely unacceptable. Do NOT book this place. I strongly advise everyone not to trust this property. Absolutely not recommended.

I lost my room card and paid 15€ at the locker, but reception wanted 40€! They’re complete robbers. If you don’t have proof, like the paper in the locker, they’ll take it by force!!

The location, comfort, and cleanliness were all things I liked about the hostel. I was very satisfied and would come back. A couple of things could be better: the kitchen should have a burner, unless I missed it, sorry. The wooden floor panels in the rooms are good for keeping out the cold, but need basic maintenance because they’re very noisy. That disturbs roommates, and some may get rude about it.
