Fleming‘s Selection Hotel Wien-City

The main problem was getting a complete receipt for the whole stay. At checkout on January 6, 2026, the receipt I received was wrong. I was told it would be corrected, but my follow-up emails got no reply and nobody answered my phone calls. I needed the correct receipt for airline reimbursement, so timely communication mattered. Clear, prompt replies show customers that a business is engaged and help build trust and support future business. The staff were professional and the service generally decent, but I would not recommend this place.

The room was spacious and nicely decorated, and the hotel is close to the city center, a metro station, and public transport. But at night we heard doors slamming and loud noises, apparently coming through the air conditioning duct. We booked accommodation only. When I asked reception about breakfast, they quoted €28 per person. A bottle of water cost €7 in the lobby, compared with 0.95 cents at a small supermarket nearby, which is crazy. The room's refrigerator barely worked and seemed to be there for decoration. The heating didn't work even with the weather at -4. It's worth knowing that the hotel's name is soon changing to Motel One!!!

The hotel's spot made Vienna easy to explore. Restaurants, bars, and unusual shops were a short stroll away, and I could have coffee or take in some culture without going far. Rathausplatz and the Parliament were practically neighbors, while the Burgtheater and Justizpalast were also just a stone's throw away. Each day felt like a new adventure right outside the door. I recently discovered the Flemings Selection Hotel Wien-City, and it's an absolute gem, a modern hotel in a great location for exploring Vienna's vibrant heartbeat.

I've stayed here twice for several days each time, and both stays were great. The location is handy, close to everything without feeling too touristy, and the rooms are very clean and have their own character. They're a little small, but that's what I'd expect in Europe. The TV is good for streaming or watching channels from around the world. Breakfast is great, although the room gets very hot. The only downside is that the rooms aren't great for sharing with people other than a significant other.
