HENRI Hotel Wien

A good location for a short business stay, with professional service and decent breakfast. Space is limited, and there’s no elevator from ground level. Maintenance and cleaning were good, but the floor wasn’t clean at all. The worst part was having no slippers in the room.

The entrance was a little confusing to find at first. Apart from that, we really enjoyed our stay. Our room was large and very comfortable, the breakfast had plenty of healthy, good options, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. I’d happily come back.

Restaurants and activities are easy to reach on foot, and the location is good. Getting into the lobby means climbing about 15 outdoor stairs, which is worth knowing if you’re older or have a disability. There’s a very small elevator after those steps. The room layout was odd, with too many doors for such a small space. They use old fashioned room keys, including to lock the door from inside, and there’s no water filter in the lobby for bottles.

The rooms are spacious, with a nice layout, and we were comfortable. Ours was on the first floor near the kitchen and breakfast area, so mornings got quite noisy. We didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel, since several good places to eat are within a 5-minute walk. The air felt stuffy when we came back in, and we had to open the window.
