It's a handy place for a quick stop or if you're on a budget. I wasn't looking to meet people, so the fact it doesn't have much of a social hostel feel was fine for me. Sharing bathrooms and showers can be a bit inconvenient, but the comfy robes help. I also appreciated how clean the accommodation was.

The location was amazing, an easy walk from a main train station, the main shopping street, and the museumquartier. Nearby food was great, the lounge was satisfactory, and the rooms and bathrooms were nearly spotless. But my mattress was infested with bedbugs. After the first morning, I woke up with bites all over my feet and legs, which was a shock. Hostel Kaiser is great if you don't mind sleeping on the floor. Apart from the bedbugs, the guesthouse was excellent.

The room was clean and tidy, and the staff were nice and helpful. A few lamps in shared areas, including the toilet and corridor, were out for two days without any notice, which caused a little inconvenience. Still, it's a good hostel and I'd be willing to stay again.

The rooms were clean, the location was convenient, breakfast was good, and the showers were excellent. Staff were friendly too. I would have liked a jug in the room so we could make tea the way we like it, but otherwise I have no complaints.

We really enjoyed staying at Kaiser and hope to come back. The people were friendly, and the place is nice and well located. Breakfast was good and the internet was fast with no issues. Reception had maps and a printer, and there was a TV. Having service around the clock and help calling a taxi was very useful. Thanks for a lovely stay. From Costa Rica.
