Breakfast was fantastic, with flavorful food and organic produce. Nasiim always greeted us with a smile and made breakfast feel enjoyable. We stayed five nights as a family with two adults and our six-year-old. The location worked perfectly for reaching the main Christmas markets, sights and museums on foot. The staff were wonderful. I spent my birthday there, and Leah and Anna helped my family arrange a lovely surprise. Anna also mapped out the main attractions for us and always made us feel welcome when we came down in the morning or returned from exploring.

The people here made the biggest difference. The staff were always friendly and ready to help, and I want to give special thanks to Anna, Florian and George. They helped make Vienna such a good experience for me. I always felt at home. Josefhof am Rathaus is a great place to stay, with a really comfortable location and the best breakfast ever.

I’ve stayed here several times and will come back again. The hotel is very neat, with parking on site, which is a big plus for us because we arrive by car. Staff are attentive, friendly, always smiling and ready to help. It’s especially nice that some are from Ukraine, which feels like a little piece of home. Thanks to Maxim, Olga and Anna for helping us during our stay. The hotel is in the city center, close enough to walk to cafes, museums, theaters, Christmas markets and shopping streets. It’s a quiet spot, and the rooms are decorated in the style of Gustav Klimt. They come in different sizes, some bigger and some smaller. Breakfast is delicious and served until noon, with Prosecco too. You don’t often find a breakfast like that at hotels in Europe. I highly recommend it!

The location made it easy to stroll around, right beside the Christmas market and city center. Our room was spacious and classically decorated, and breakfast had lots of options, including fresh orange juice, hot apple cider, Prosecco and honey. The staff were very attentive, and we were delighted to receive a surprise gift at check-in. It’s been a really enjoyable stay, 10/10. We arrived at 7 pm and were warmly welcomed by the receptionists, especially György (Sándor) Pásztor, who was so kind and helpful. The parking area is large and nearby. He let us know the Christmas market was closed for the day but would open again tomorrow, then showed us a map of the market, a list of places to visit and an Austrian restaurant he’d tried and recommended.

The staff were really helpful, and I enjoyed chatting with them around the bar. Breakfast runs until noon and has lots of choice. Our room was on the fifth floor, with such a comfortable bed I almost didn’t want to get up. We stayed three nights in late December 2025. The local Christmas markets and museums are an easy stroll away. Fantastic hotel and trip, I’d highly recommend it.
