The staff were very nice and helpful, and the rooms matched what was advertised, clean and comfortable. It feels suited to people on a city break rather than just business travellers. The location is so central that you can pop back for a quiet rest or to take a break from walking between sightseeing and dinner or a night out.

The staff were welcoming and attentive, and the beds were comfortable. Rooms are a little small, though the aesthetic is nice and the upper floors have great views. It could use a fresh coat of paint. In room 64, the air conditioning wasn't working very well, or might have been broken, and it was a bit noisy. There are no USB sockets, so you'll need plug adapters. The location is great.

That lounge became part of our daily routine. After walking around all day, we'd go there to unwind with complimentary coffee and tea, wine and champagne, and jars of candy, which were the best treat. Hotel Topazz has a distinctive look, with those large oval windows, and the rooms are lovely. Sitting curled up in the window nook and looking out over the city felt like magic. Even though you're right in central Vienna, the room was incredibly soundproof, a quiet little cocoon away from the city noise. St. Stephen’s Cathedral, the river, and the main attractions were all an easy walk away. It's a cozy and stylish place, with high end design and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We felt pampered while exploring Vienna.

The Front Desk staff were friendly and very accommodating, and the linens on the beds were very nice and comfortable. The room was large enough with a very nice bathroom, and the hotel is extremely centrally located. I stayed nine days, though, and having no chair in the room made sitting around quite uncomfortable. There was one stool. Dirty glasses were a repeated issue. If a glass had a little soft drink, water, or wine left in it, they would put a coaster on top instead of cleaning and replacing it. This happened more than once. I think it's a picture so you'll know what I'm talking about. Breakfast may or may not be included in your room. It was adequate, and the breakfast room service was very good. The fresh squeezed orange juice was great, but there were no danishes or muffins, which I would expect at this breakfast price. The breakfast room was beautiful, with fresh linens on the tables, and the staff there were really friendly.
