The reception knew hot water was an issue, but said they couldn't do anything about it. It was missing when we arrived and again on our last day, so we couldn't shower either time. We were there in December, when Vienna is around 5°C, which made this completely unacceptable. For a hotel taking guests through winter, that's a serious problem. We wouldn't recommend staying here, and we won't return.

The hotel has plenty going for it. The lobby is lovely, the room was small but very clean and practical, and the compact bathroom had an excellent shower. Breakfast had a good range in a calm, pleasant room, and the service was very good. I would stay again. Check-in was just average, though. I wasn't told much about the facilities, especially the honesty bar, and after a long journey it would have been nice to know it was there. The checkout was much worse. 'Magdelena' was cold and unfriendly while sorting the bill. She didn't offer to confirm the amount, and I couldn't see it on the terminal. When I asked, getting the information was difficult, as if she hadn't understood me. She never smiled or asked how the stay had been, or said she hoped I'd return. There was no warmth or customer service, and it left a sour end to an otherwise pleasant visit. That reception experience is off-putting and lets the hotel down.

The single room was on the small side, but clean, and the staff were really kind. Breakfast had just about everything you could want. Everything else was fine too, thank you!

They gave us free pastries during check-in, and the staff were very friendly. The room was clean, though a bit small, and the Wi-Fi signal could have been better. Breakfast was generous, with lots to choose from and very good coffee. A very nice hotel.

I was very happy with my stay. The rooms were spotless, and the staff were polite and friendly. The hotel is close to the strassebahn and bahnof, with restaurants and other amenities nearby.
