I paid 18€ for one night, and for that price the place gave me what I expected: a decent bed and somewhere to sleep instead of on the pavement. The beds were okay, with pillowcases and plenty of blankets. The bathroom was small, but usable, and the kitchen seemed decent, though we didn’t use it. From a quick look, common items might be missing, so bring your own cups if you’re staying longer. The only things that really brought this down to 3/5 for me were the broken lockers, only three of the six worked, and how cold it got at night. I booked before reading all the reviews, and wanted to be very honest after spending a night here. I don’t understand complaints that it wasn’t attractive, the bathroom was small, or people snored. What would you expect from a hostel for 20€? And if people can’t find the place or use their door password, that’s not automatically the owner’s fault. They should learn to follow instructions and use Google Maps properly.

If you’re short on money or only need somewhere for a few nights, this can do the job. Just bring your own sterilizing wipes and sleeping bag, and use the paper sheets. I had to clean the bathroom before using it, which was a first for me in a hostel, but it wasn’t that bad. Hygiene didn’t seem to matter much here. If you’re expecting comfort, spending a few extra euros for a better place is probably worth it.

We couldn’t get online at all: the WiFi wouldn’t work for us, despite the connection showing zero ping and devices all over Austria appearing to connect to that network. The rest of the place was filthy. We saw hair, stains and spiders everywhere, and the pillows were dirty too. This didn’t feel like a hotel, or even an apartment. The bathroom was designed for dwarfs, so even my baby couldn’t wash their hands, and the light was so bright we lost our vision. The locker doors had such high security that after we locked them, we needed the FBI to open them. Am I exaggerating? Absolutely not.

The location was the only good part. I was there for three nights and barely slept. There was no pillowcase, sheet or duvet cover. The blanket was so thin and short I couldn’t cover myself, and the thin hospital-style cover they give guests didn’t cover the whole bed. After moving around at night, we ended up with no sheet at all. My girlfriend didn’t sleep well either. We asked for another blanket or a pillowcase and were told we could buy one ourselves. I had to use my towel as a pillowcase. The bathroom was so cramped I worried one wrong move would put me in the kitchen with the “door” in my hand. I understand adapting a small apartment to fit as many people as possible, but there should be some standards. There’s no housekeeping on Sundays, so don’t expect help with questions or requests then. It felt like they just wanted our EUR and for us to go away. Awful experience, I wouldn’t recommend it. The kitchen wasn’t good either, with no real cups for tea and no bread knives.

I can’t explain how bad this apartment(!) was. It was tiny, filthy, smelly, and the worst experience ever. We went there just to drop off our stuff, not to check in. Some people opened the door for us and we were shocked. The photos must be from somewhere else. I’m angry at myself for forgetting to take photos. They don’t deserve even one star. This apartment should be closed.
