Pension A Und A

After two weeks of travel, we found the beds here heavenly. Ours had a memory foam topper and was extremely comfortable. The rooms were modern and beautiful, and ours had a full tub. It's well located near the museums and parks, and there's AC. I like having breakfast in the room at the little breakfast bar at the end of the bed.

There was a strong damp smell in the room, maybe from the toilet pipes. We couldn't put toilet paper in the toilet because it might clog, and we were told we'd be fined if that happened. The room had no windows facing the street. There was no one there after midday, but they sent instructions and a video showing how to get the keys. Breakfast was included, but we were meant to eat it in our room since there's no dining room. With the smell, that was out of the question. We sent a message asking if we could change rooms because nobody was there, but got no answer. The one positive was the location, right in the historic center.

The room was just okay, and I won't stay here again. We were promised a bathtub and got one, but there was no plug to hold the water. The shower drain was packed with hair from the previous guest, and although the bed was decent, the sheets had several old blood stains. There are no minibars, and the TV has only one channel.

I had to spend three hours in the middle of the night getting an alternative booking through the booking platform. I’m glad the platform will charge this institution for the extra booking costs. A business like this shouldn't exist. Avoid at all costs if you don't want to end up on the street at night. This was the worst apartment experience I've had. I booked two months ahead, but they sent no self check-in guide and nobody was available at the property. They didn't answer any of my calls.
