Breakfast felt like a little gathering where travelers swapped stories, and the coffee was excellent. We also loved being near Mariahilfer street. This was our first trip to Vienna and Europe, and the family made us feel at home. Opening the windows onto the courtyard was a romantic touch. We enjoyed it so much that we’ll be back in September!

We used this as our base for seeing vienna and it worked out really well. The staff welcomed us warmly, check-in was easy, and the WiFi was reasonable. It’s an older but elegant building, with massive rooms. Ours had three beds and a three-quarter bath. Breakfast was great, with meats and cheeses, rolls, cereal, juice, coffee or tea, yogurt, and more.

From the outside it looks plain and simple, but inside it’s clean and properly managed. The location is good and breakfast was good too. I paid 36 for a spotless single room with breakfast included, which turned out to be a very pleasant surprise in every way.

The rooms are spacious and really comfortable, with a personal, homey feel. Service was great, and breakfast was delicious, with a nice range of breads, meats, cheeses, yogurts, and drinks. Loved the place!

The Kramls are wonderful people. We were a group of five Orwell, including a four-year-old, and had a bit of a walk to get to public transportation. Since we needed to leave early for our flight home and couldn’t make breakfast, they prepared a breakfast basket for us.
