Premier Inn Wien City Hauptbahnhof

Our room could have been warmer at night. We stayed on 22 January 2026, when it was around -9°C outside, and the temperature didn’t stay at the expected 22°C. Breakfast starts at 6:30 a.m., but we had an early flight and couldn’t try it. The hotel is directly opposite the main train station, so getting to the city centre is quick and easy. Rooms are clean, the atmosphere is calm, and the staff are welcoming and friendly.

I stayed for two nights and slept really well. I usually have trouble falling asleep, but at premier inn I got a very good rest. The rooms and toilets were clean, and everything worked well. It’s a very nice place, and I’ll definitely come back!

It’s a good option for tourists staying one or two nights, with basic service and facilities that fit a 3-star category. There’s no minibar, but you can buy drinks and chips at the hotel. Reception is open 24 hours. Breakfast is something I can’t rate. The hotel is next to the train station and close to metro and tram routes into the center. Rooms are well furnished, with air conditioning, wifi, low noise, and the option to make coffee in the room. Soap and towels are provided in the bathroom.

We chose Acom for its handy location near the train station, but the hotel was disappointing, especially after arriving jetlagged. We visited in winter 2024. The rooms were uncomfortably hot, and the centrally controlled AC couldn’t be adjusted. When we ran a fan, the AC rattled loudly. The beds were uncomfortable, with cheap pillows on top. After that experience, I’ll always bring my own pillow. The front desk was less than helpful.
