Schlosshotel Römischer Kaiser

We were right by the opera in the heart of the city, so we could visit lots of places on foot. The rooms were quiet and cozy, and the staff were nice and sympathetic. We spent a splendid week at this hostel.

I came across this place by chance after a problem with the property I’d booked, which was my fault, left me with nowhere to sleep. Check-in was very easy, and the receptionist was very kind. The hotel has a lot of history, visible in every corner. If you like places that are new, modern, and soulless, this probably isn’t for you. If you value history, it’s a must. Everything worked perfectly, and the breakfast was one of the best-presented I’ve ever seen. An extraordinary experience in central Vienna. I’d definitely come back.

The staff’s care and willingness to help really stood out, even when they recommended an apfel strudel. There’s a coffee station and a comfy lounge by the entrance, with umbrellas available for guests. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and had decent coffee. The hotel is within walking distance of the Vienna Opera House, St Stephen Dom, the museum quarter, and other sights. You can also ask at the lobby for information about places to visit, restaurants, and even the weather. A luxury stay and one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Highly recommended.

We slept well in a comfortable room, and the shower was great. The air conditioning could have been stronger, though the Dyson hair dryer was a nice extra. The team were so friendly and helpful, with excellent recommendations. The hotel sits on a quiet street right in central Vienna, close to restaurants, shops, the opera house, palaces, and the subway. I’d recommend it and would stay again!!
