The location is outside the city center, though there’s a streetcar stop very close by that makes getting downtown and to other tourist areas easy. Shops are nearby, too. Our room was clean and comfortable, with sound-proofed windows that kept street noise down, and even the Julius Meinl instant coffee was nice. Breakfast was fantastic, varied, and well-stocked; the dining room was clean and welcoming. The staff were the best part of our stay at Senator Hotel Vienna. They were friendly and went out of their way to help us in several ways: finding us a room much earlier than expected, receiving luggage delayed by my airline, and storing our bags. The twin beds were a little close together, but it wasn’t a serious problem. I’d stay again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it as a welcoming base for exploring Vienna.

We stayed at this Vienna hotel during our group tour of Eastern Europe and had a pleasant, comfortable visit. When we had some bathroom issues, housekeeping responded very quickly. Breakfast had a good range of tasty vegetarian and non-vegetarian items that suited Indians.

The location is great for exploring the city. The room and bathroom were clean, and everything was usable and working. There’s no laundry at the hotel; a laundry service 50 meters away is available, but it’s very expensive. In the last few days I asked hotel staff for slippers, but they said they were out of stock.

I had a great stay at the Senator Hotel. Everyone was kind and welcoming. The long-haired guy was especially friendly and nice, and the girl working there was pleasant too.

Our room was nice and the bathroom very clean. The location was good, too. My one annoyance was the bedding: the bed was double, but it had two single duvets. I asked reception twice to change them to a double, and they said they didn’t have one.
