The bathroom was awful: the place smelled strongly of sewage, apparently because a removed toilet left its pipe open, and the toilet lid that remained was broken. Ants were crawling across the floor, the blinds were broken, and there was no microwave. With barely enough room to move, there wasn't even space to eat comfortably. My son and I ended up squeezed together on the bottom bunk because the top bunk had no safety rails, leaving a real risk of falling onto the hard tile floor. The room itself was a cramped 3x2 meter concrete cell, nothing like the photos online. The owners acted as if the place was fully booked, but only two or three rooms were occupied. This was the worst accommodation I've ever seen. The conditions felt worse than for animals. I'd give it zero or minus one stars if I could. Avoid this "business hotel". I hope it closes soon.

The location felt safe and was handy for getting around: on a side street near the Danube Canal, with tram and metro stops close by. Walking to the center took about 15 minutes, and each door had its own entry code like at pricier hotels. The room had clean bedding, good heating, nice artwork, a clean fridge, a window that opened, a desk, and a wardrobe. In the shared area there was a kettle, hob, plates, cups, glasses, cookware, and utensils; the toilets and shower were modern and very clean, with shower gel and two fresh towels. I had missed my flight and needed somewhere in Vienna at short notice. The price on Booking was very good, though the reviews had made me expect a rough stay. For the price, the place turned out to be excellent. Entry instructions were easy to follow, and staff replied quickly and helpfully. I also spoke with the man who looks after the building, and found him intelligent and approachable. I highly recommend Vienna City Business Rooms. 10/10. It deserves better reviews, and I'll stay again.

The room was filthy, bugs were crawling around, and traffic noise came straight through the windows all night, making sleep nearly impossible. Drunk people even vomited right outside the entrance. It was disgusting and unbearably loud. I couldn't get hold of the landlord at all. Everything goes through a large agency that manages thousands of properties and offered no real help. For that price, it felt like outright exploitation. A night on a park bench would have been more comfortable.

There were stains on my sheets, and the place felt run down with a moldy smell. For all the rooms, there were just two toilets and two showers. The showers were in a small bathroom with only thin curtains. I wouldn't feel safe staying here as a woman traveling alone.

I couldn't even find a fridge, and the mattress was really uncomfortable. There was a hair on my towel, too. The showers especially need improvement, since there was hardly any sense of privacy. It feels like a cross between a hostel and an Airbnb. I only realized afterward that it was listed as women-only, which explains why one of the girls gave me a funny look when I ran into her 😐
