I stayed in a rooftop apartment and loved the balcony view across Vienna. The elevator made getting up there easy. The place was extremely clean and well looked after. The building pairs traditional Austrian historic architecture in the front with charming apartments around a courtyard that has an almost Italian piazza feel. The technical standards are modern, including air conditioning in all apartment categories. The main-house apartments also have lovely city views. A really distinctive stay in Vienna.

The apartment was spacious and nice, but the extra-soft, sponge-like mattresses and uncomfortable pillows made it hard to get any decent sleep. The kitchen could also use a few more utensils, like a cutting board.

A supermarket just a minute away was very handy, and the neighborhood was quiet with hardly anyone around. The metro is a short walk away, so getting to the city center was easy. For the location and amenities, the price felt more than fair compared with places nearer the center. Our two-bedroom setup suited us well for a few days. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had a small kitchen and washing machine, plus everything else we needed. The bathroom and shower were very clean too. We had a great stay, would recommend it, and would gladly come back.

I thought it was okay, but the heating took a long time to work on the first day, and the air conditioner never worked. The boiler was suuuper loud when showering or washing my hands. I also don't generally trust electronic door locks, though that's just my personal opinion.

We booked a two-bedroom apartment, but only one bed had sheets and blankets. When we asked, the host called it a “special request” to avoid sleeping straight on their stained mattress, then wanted €40 to provide sheets. Her tone was snarky and passive aggressive too. Absolute scam.
