The location and price were excellent, and communication with the owner was excellent too. The place is very vintage, though, and quite worn and sparsely furnished. The couch is tattered, the living room carpet looks rusty, and the rusty shower curtain and shower tap that’s either hot or cold were issues. Watch out for the door handles, and one kitchen cabinet door hangs loose. Street noise comes with the location, but that’s normal there.

It’s near the metro, though traffic can be heard from the room. We asked the owner to hold our bags for a couple of hours, but he refused, which felt rude.

The apartment is beautifully furnished and has everything you need. The problem is the building’s location right in the middle of a train station. Even with the window shut, sleeping without earplugs is impossible. At least they provide earplugs.

A quality place with a friendly welcome. The studio is original and superb, in a pleasant neighborhood near the city center and the castle.
