The food was delicious, interesting, and beautifully presented, and there are plenty of activities for adults and children. The family-run hotel sits in a beautiful spot, with elegant gardens full of different trees and flowers reaching down to the azure lake. There’s a spacious terrace for dining outside, along with tables, sofas, and comfortable places to sit. The rooms are attractive, have lake views, and come with many facilities. Stylish ornaments are scattered inside and out. Most of all, Michael, Leena, and their family gave us a warm welcome and paid close attention to making us comfortable. It made for a really enjoyable holiday. Thank you, Tamsin and David.

Paradise. We’ve visited more than 20 times over the last 20 years. That says it all. ❤

Everything is well organized, from breakfast to the afternoon snack and dinner, and the friendly staff serve it all. The rooms are cleaned and beds made every day. There’s plenty of room on the lovely lawn overlooking Lake Faak, even when the small hotel is fully booked. It’s fantastically located right beside the lake. We’ve already booked again for next year. European Bike Week hardly bothered us.

We always love coming back to this family-run hotel. The relaxed, welcoming atmosphere comes with charming, top-notch service from the family and outstanding food. Its location and beautifully kept, spacious grounds, including a sauna, are exceptional too. Every year the family adds a new touch. One of my absolute favorites, and top-notch in every respect!
