Gasthof Schroll Tenne

We stopped here overnight on the way to Mayrhofen, and the motorway was easy to reach. The small hotel was cosy, with spacious, clean, warm rooms. Bathrooms had a shower gel and hand soap and were well equipped. We enjoyed the fresh, tasty breakfast and delicious restaurant food, and the service was exceptional. We’ll definitely stay again.

The room and shower were okay, though the air smelled as if someone had been smoking, despite smoking being prohibited. I missed having eggs at breakfast, but they could be ordered as an extra. Staff were friendly and the food was decent. We visited just before the ski season ended and had a good time overall.

We had a good weekend here and the stay was fine. When I ran into a wifi problem, an employee helped me. My family didn’t like the dinners, though I had no issue with them. Breakfast was a buffet, and the lady there was nice. She didn’t speak a word of English, but we managed to understand each other. I’d recommend the place.

The pension has nice people and prices that suit the location, and it’s only a few minutes from the SkiWelt area. There’s a bar downstairs where people smoke, though, and the smell reaches the whole pension, including the rooms.
