Mountains&Lakes – Chaletdorf & Apartments

The hosts were great, and I loved staying here. Being surrounded by mountains, valleys, and lakes made it easy to unwind and recharge, with plenty of outdoor activities and a bit of adventure nearby. The chalets are thoughtfully designed, both practical and attractive, and have the facilities you need. A lovely place to get away into nature.

We were five people for two nights and were given just one roll of toilet paper. When we asked for more, the host laughed and told us this wasn't a hotel, then said we had 15 minutes to get to the shop before it closed, even though the shops would be shut the next day too. Being treated that way made the stay unacceptable. He also demanded cash for two parking spaces as soon as we parked, though this wasn't mentioned online, and gave us no receipt. I don't recommend it. The surprise fee and missing basics were bad enough, but the mocking and disrespect were worse.

The hosts were so friendly and helpful, which made our Easter weekend even more special. We had a wonderful time at Mountains & Lakes Chalet. The new chalets were just what we wanted for a family break, nicely equipped and cosy with a modern feel. There are lovely views from upstairs. The woodland nearby gives the area a peaceful feel, while the motorway is close enough to make lakes, attractions, and walking trails easy to reach. Thanks for such a lovely stay. We'd definitely come back.

We were happy to find shops and restaurants only a few minutes away by car, and the location was easy to reach. Our chalet was comfortable and had everything we needed. The area is quiet, with clean air, and we enjoyed spending time there. It would work just as well for a holiday as for remote work. The whole experience, from our first interaction to the last, was excellent. It was exactly the kind of place we like.
