The owner was pleasant to communicate with, replied to messages almost right away, and speaks English, so everything worked out well. The accommodation is even nicer than the photos suggest. There’s free parking beside the guesthouse. A grocery store is about a 10-minute walk away, and a very good restaurant whose name has something to do with bees is around 5-8 minutes on foot. The free beach at Faaker see is a 10-15 minute walk away.

There are activities for all ages, indoors and outdoors, without needing long drives. Villach is an 8-minute drive away, and Velden takes 15 minutes. The location is ideal, with the free-entry lido and a local grocery store both an easy walk away. For four of us, two adults and two children, the apartment worked really well. It has two bedrooms, each with a large double bed and TV, and every room opens onto a balcony. The kitchen is well equipped. The bathroom and toilet are on the small side, but perfectly adequate. A great place in a great spot for a few lovely days on and around Lake Faak.

A lovely setting, friendly people, and, most importantly, a good price. Greetings from the Netherlands.

The landlords were very nice, and the apartment was good and really clean. The location was quiet.
