The reception staff were relatively kind, which is the only reason I’m giving this place one star. Finding the reception was awful. They provided an address but no clear directions to the entrance, and Google Maps sent us to what looked like the back of some garages. We arrived very late, eventually found someone, and got the keys. We’d been told parking was available, but every spot was taken. Since it was late and there were no other options, we had to park dangerously in a way that blocked other cars and could easily have led to a fine. The room wasn’t the one we’d booked through Booking.com. We’d reserved a double bed but got two small beds pushed into opposite corners. It felt like a much cheaper room than the one we paid for. The bathroom was tiny and dirty, nothing like the photos: no bathtub, just a small, uncomfortable shower cabin with doors that barely closed. The room also hadn’t been cleaned properly, if at all. Housekeeping had clearly been careless. The whole stay was a complete disappointment. I’d never stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

It’s easy to get to the city center and the bus and rail stations. The people were wonderful, very nice.

I paid €119 for the stay, breakfast included, but spent only 10 minutes in the room and didn’t eat breakfast. The manager told me it was my fault and that I should leave without a refund. He was rude, insulting, yelled at me several times, and kept walking away, so it was impossible to talk with him. The room was filthy when I arrived, with hair everywhere, several large spiders, a torn curtain, and a moldy smell. I asked the manager to cancel the stay so I could find another hotel. He refused and offered to show me a different room, but the whole hotel seemed to be in equally poor condition. It was already late and all I wanted was to rest, which I couldn’t do there. I spent over 20 minutes trying to discuss the cancellation with him. This is the worst hotel I’ve ever experienced. Stay away!

What a shame, because this place has so much potential. I booked VILLA AM STADTPARK because I wanted to be near the city park, but instead I was put up 800 meters away at the Auerhahn Stadtliebling. The window facing the city center leaked, and there was racket all night. Drunken partygoers kept me awake, then weekend chaos began at 6:00 AM. The air conditioner hummed like a broken refrigerator every two minutes overnight, though each burst lasted only three seconds.
