It was nearly 40 degrees and there was no air conditioning. Maybe that’s manageable when you’re young, but our rooms were so hot we could hardly breathe. Opening the windows just invited a swarm of mosquitoes. I don’t know if this is because of climate change, but it was just 🥵 hot.

The breakfast selection wasn’t huge, but everything we had was delicious, and the coffee was very good too, which is rare. The beds were comfortable, with lovely soft sheets that smelled nice, and the rooms were clean. It’s a small hotel in a very peaceful village, and the owners were extremely friendly. We’d definitely come back.

Hotel Denk is in Vorchdorf, surrounded by beautiful houses and buildings, and the atmosphere inside felt fresh and pleasant. The staff were very friendly and supportive, and Mr Denk was especially outstanding with the service and help. My one personal gripe was that the room lights felt quite dim, though that may vary from person to person. I’ve added some photos of the view outside the hotel.

The price was fair, and there’s a Penny right next door for quick shopping, with larger grocery stores nearby. The staff gave us a warm welcome, the place felt cosy, and breakfast was excellent. A great stop if you’re planning a break.

A good value stop when you’re on the way somewhere. The room was superb, the staff were very helpful, and the location worked well for a night’s break. Breakfast was simple but good. Recommended.
