The ski setup is a real plus: there are big closets for storing gear, a sports shop with direct hotel access for rentals or purchases, and a supermarket nearby. Parking underground is free, and the spa has several kinds of sauna, including classic, infrared, and wet. The lifts are close, and there are Chinese, Italian, and international buffet restaurants. A few things could be better. Staff were sometimes a bit arrogant or unwilling to help. The bathroom layout is awkward: the large toilet door blocks it when open, and there’s no door to the bathroom itself, so someone opening the room entrance could see you showering. Toiletries are sparse, just cheap shower gel and soap, and we got only one complimentary water bottle for the whole stay.

The pool and quiet surroundings were lovely, and we felt at ease from the minute we arrived. Our room was clean, stylish, and had everything we needed. The food was a highlight, with lots of fresh, delicious choices, and everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. This summer’s stay became especially memorable when my partner proposed here. Adapura will always mean a lot to us. We can’t wait to return, and would recommend it to anyone after a quality all-inclusive mountain break.

The location beside the gondola was great, and I had a very enjoyable week. The spa has a nice, fairly large pool, though I didn’t try the other facilities. Each room gets two huge ski lockers, and the ski rental shop next door was very handy. We had a double room type II (4 you), which was a reasonable size for two adult men. It had a large double bed and a single sofa bed that I believe can convert to bunk beds in a family room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was good and kept replenished. There are four options: Italian, Asian, traditional Austrian, and à la carte. The first three are self-service buffets and need to be booked before breakfast. If you sleep in, the Italian places at 6.30 and 8.00pm may both be full. The Asian one was my personal favorite. I was disappointed that à la carte wasn’t included in the package, as I’d expect it to be standard at a 4+ star hotel. A tiny soap bar for two people for a week felt stingy, though I’m sure reception would have given us more if we’d asked. Reception is only staffed from 8am to 8pm, so I’m unsure what happens in a night emergency. I also couldn’t get a 6am wake-up call on departure day because reception doesn’t open until 8. Those are minor gripes, and I’d recommend the place.

The hotel has a good location, clean rooms, decent food, and a nice spa. But charging 4 euros for tap water at supper leaves a bad taste, especially since it’s free at breakfast. Please make it free.
