Hotelpension Oberauer Wagrain

The host went out of his way to make us feel at home, with extra attention for the kids. It’s a fantastic place with great hospitality, very child friendly, and has a lovely garden with a trampoline and lots more. Couldn’t be happier with our stay.

Such a great stay. The staff were lovely, friendly and really helpful. Breakfast was very nice, and the room was lovely and clean. There’s plenty of parking for several cars, right by the front door, so bringing our stuff inside was easy. Thanks Florian and staff!

That butter dispenser at breakfast made me smile every morning, and the breakfast itself was superb. My sister and I have just come home from four lovely nights at Pension Oberauer, where the rooms were warm, spotless and comfortable, with a modern feel. It’s in the pretty Kirchboden area, about an 8-10 minute walk from Flying Mozart lift station. Ski bus stops are very close too, handy if you’d rather not walk or want to start or finish at Grafenberg station. We really appreciated being able to use the dining room until 10 pm. We could eat takeaway, get a drink from the honesty bar or coffee machine, and spend time reading or playing one of the many board games. The welcome felt genuinely warm. Pension Oberauer is an independent family business and home, with a great standard of accommodation that still holds to traditional and environmental values. They’ve found a lovely balance. We’re glad we found it and will make it our first choice next time we’re in Wagrain. Highly recommend, 10/10.

The owner clearly cares about both the place and the people staying there. We spent a few days at Oberauer hotel and had a very nice two-bedroom apartment. The furniture was in great condition, and the bathroom was clean and updated to a very good standard. It’s a warm, cozy, family-friendly hotel, and the breakfast is good quality. We’d happily recommend staying here.
