We'd definitely come back. Breakfast was made to order and always served with a smile, and the service was fabulous. Our new apartment had two separate bedrooms and showers, plus a fully equipped kitchen and dining area with an oven, dishwasher, toaster, and microwave. It worked well for two couples or a family with kids, and the location was amazing.

We appreciated the warm welcome from the host family. The place was clean, comfortable, and pleasant to stay in, and the accommodation provides cards for free access to Wagrain Kleinarl. It would be even better with air conditioning, a lift, and a washing machine.

The balcony was big, the bed comfortable, and the kitchen well equipped. We also liked the fresh bread service, clean room, friendly hosts, easy late check-in with the key left at reception, and the great ski boot room. The ski lift is close, there's plenty of parking if you have a car, and an apres ski bar nearby. The W3 ski bus stop is handy for Flachau and central Wagrain, and you'll need it for groceries if you don't have a car. I'd give this hotel four stars, which feels about right. My girlfriend and I stayed for a week in March 2024 to snowboard. The main problem was the noise from drunk people, and it had a serious effect on our sleep and stay. On most nights, people were shouting drunk in the communal area or on the stairs until 11 or midnight. If they weren't there, they were outside the front of the property, making it hard to have the window open. We were on the first floor, so it was a big issue for us. The hotel needs to take direct action, since letting this continue affects guests' sleep. People choose a remote hotel for a quieter stay, and if we'd wanted a party house, we would have stayed somewhere livelier. We wouldn't come back for this reason alone. On two separate occasions, a drunk person came into our unlocked room. Luckily we were awake and fully clothed, so lock your door if you stay here. A key drop box at reception for checkout would be useful. Most of the English translations in the room information booklet made no sense, so they should be corrected for guests from a wider range of places. Austrian sauna customs aren't well known, and we didn't know the saunas were used naked. We personally had an awkward social moment because of this. It's not the hotel's fault, but a note in each room's booklet could help guests know what to expect.

This was our second stay here with family and friends. The apartment was even better than before, the location was perfect, and the host was great.
